Metro Manila is home to multiple galleries showcasing artworks of Filipino artists. But there's only a few that offer an experience beyond looking at paintings hanging on the wall and sculptures on pedestals. Last month, The Monarch opened at Molito Lifestyle Center in Alabang. It's a gallery that is also a wine bar and an interior design studio.
From gloom to glow: Transforming rooms into elegant and warm spaces
In my past eight years of practicing interior design, I've come to a better understanding of how to interpret my client's vision for a particular project.
I get different types of clients--those who have a clear idea of what they want, while others only have a general concept. Part of the process is having active listening skills to understand their needs and wants, then translating this into an interior space that engages most, if not all, of our senses. This involves active collaboration between our clients and our team. In this home renovation, we have various elements that does exactly that.
