Showcasing the works of Maribel Villarmia, Bim Gutierrez, Aldron Anchinges, and Valerie Teng, the exhibit explores the grounded nature that defines this earth sign. Through diverse visual languages, each artist offers a unique interpretation of Taurus’ deep connection to the physical world.

THE ARTISTS
ALDRON ANCHINGES
Aldron Anchinges, a self-taught contemporary artist from Rizal, is known for his evocative portrayals of childhood, blending realism with a cartoonist style. His works explore themes of innocence, nostalgia, and human emotion. Anchinges also creates sculptures, including the "Botchog" series, celebrating indulgence with dessert-themed figures. Gaining recognition in Philippine exhibitions and auctions, his unique approach continues to shape contemporary Philippine art.
BIM GUTIERREZ
Bim Gutierrez is a Digital Transformation leader with over 20 years of experience, specializing in blending traditional methods with cutting-edge technology to drive business success. Passionate about self-expression through art, particularly acrylic painting, she draws inspiration from vibrant flowers and plants. For Bim, art is not just a hobby, but a therapeutic outlet that nurtures her well-being and fuels her creativity. Now, she confidently claims her place as an artist, embracing her creative journey and eager to share her talent and gifts with the art world.
MARIBEL VILLARMIA
Maribel Villarmia is a self-taught contemporary artist whose work explores floral themes and nature. She blends Western watermedia techniques with influences from historical Asian art, reflecting her life between California and the Philippines. Growing up surrounded by color, Eastern design, and botanical gardening, Maribel’s creativity flourished. After retiring as a music instructor, she studied Chinese and Western painting, merging these styles into her unique approach. Today, she primarily paints on silk, capturing the vibrant birdsong and floral beauty of the East.
VALERIE TENG
Valerie Teng is a Filipino visual artist with a Fine Arts degree from the College of the Holy Spirit. Her passion for the arts grew from traditional animation and product design to painting, with works that are whimsical, dream-like, and inspired by nature. Her style features fluid lines and delicate strokes, creating an ethereal quality. She also explores abstract and pop art, influenced by her love of Feng Shui. Teng has held three solo exhibitions and participated in several group shows, including five international exhibitions in Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Japan.
